*Steps To Check WAEC GCE Result Online - 2017Nov/Dec.*

1. To check your result, go to waec results checking portal:
For Nigerian Candidates, go to www.waecdirect.org 


2. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number. (Note That your 10 digit waec exam number, is your 7-Digit centre number, which is followed by your 3-digit candidate number *eg* 4123456789)

3. Proceed and enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year *eg* 2017

4. Then Select the ‘ Type of Examination ’, That is the NOV/DEC WASSCE (Private), Then Enter the Card Serial Number, which is found on the reverse side of your Scratch Card.

5. Continue and type in the Personal Identification Number(PIN) on your Scratch Card.

6. Lastly, click on *SUBMIT* and Wait for the Results window to come up.

*Note*: Be informed that you can only use the waec result checker 5 Times!!

USING THE RESULT CHECKER
  1. Enter your Index Number. 
  2. Select the Type of Examination (e.g.  WASSCE).
  3. Select your Examination Year eg. 2003.
  4. Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card. 
  5. Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card eg. 012345678912.
  6. Confirm your Index Number and Examination Year. This is to ensure that your examination information is correct.
  7. Click on Submit and wait for the display in the popup window. This may take several minutes.

WAEC Threatens To Cancel Entire Results Of Candidates Caught With Mobile Phones

West    African    Examination Council    (WAEC) has said any candidate that  comes into the examination hall with mobile phones or any other electronic gadgets will    have his or her entire results cancelled, as it begins  registration for second series of West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)  for private candidates. This was contained in a statement signed by the Council Head of National Office, Olu Adenipekun. He said, “Candidates who engage in examination malpractice will not only have their results cancelled, but may be prosecuted”. However, the HNO opined that Candidates who wish to register for the examination after the close of entries may be accommodated as “ Walk-in-Candidates ” provided they register not less than twenty four hours to the scheduled time of the paper (s) they intend to write, saying their fee is 25,000.
