The Head of National Office (HNO) confirmed to us that over 44,000 results of the just released WASSCE results were withheld and is on investigated because of the followings: 1) Identified over 2000/six cartons colored photo copied answer booklets that examiners marking the papers gave to pupils to redo their exams via the help of their marking scheme. 2) Two different answer booklets with the same name and index number but with two different handwritings. 3) Huge number of students with the same answers and same mistakes. 4) Using Mathematical answer booklets to answer English questions 5) Using their phones in exams center to spy 6) Students caught with papers that have answers to the questions. 7) No appearance: seats were empty and mark absent by supervisors but answer booklet were submitted for said seats/students. 8) Invigilators conniving with students to spy for money because principal fail to sent senior teachers with proven attitudes but sent volunteer teac...

WAEC to be 100 per cent technology driven in 2018 – Olu Adenipekun By  Ayodele Bello   -   December 30, 2017         File Photo The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) says it will sensitise and train its workforce on key areas of technology deployment in order to improve its operations in 2018. The council’s Head, National Office (HNO), Mr Olu Adenipekun, disclosed this in an interview on Saturday in Lagos. According to him, the council has organised series of retreats for both management staff and the workforce in preparatory to deploy technology in its operations. “We have worked hard in sensitising the workforce of the council and prepare their minds because it is one thing for one to strive to do something “But if the people that drives the system are not attuned psychologically to doing that all such efforts will be fruitless. “So, we want to prepare our psyche on the need to sharpen our tools in prepara...
